Shipbuilding enterprise settled in our county

On the morning of January 18, 2008, Mr. Zhou Xiangzong, Chairman of Zhejiang Zhongrun Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., officially signed a contract with our county to invest in the construction of a shipbuilding project. Zhou Xuxian, Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the County People's Congress, Wang Shanggai, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Deputy County Mayor, as well as representatives of relevant units and investors from Shenxiang Town and the county attended the signing ceremony.

It is known that this enterprise is the third shipbuilding enterprise currently introduced by our county. The construction site of the project is located on the front riverbank of Zhangjiawan in Shenxiang Town. The total investment for the entire project construction is 200 million yuan, with a construction period of 2 years. The main construction content includes 10 shipways with a capacity of over 10000 tons, 10 gantry cranes, and one 200 meter long outfitting dock. After the completion of the project, the annual production capacity can reach 300000 tons, the output value is about 1.5 billion yuan, and the tax is about 5 million yuan.
